 FRM3 module (Footwell Module) is used on:

BMW E81, E82, E84, E87, E89, E90, E91, E92, E93, E70, E71, E72 series
and Mini R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60, R61 series

FRM, Footwell Module is responsible for:
  • Headlights
  • Taillights
  • Fog lights
  • Front courtesy lighting
  • Rear courtesy lighting
  • Number-plate light
  • Power windows
  • Exterior mirrors
  • Indicators
Problem
FRM3 can fail when
the car battery gets low
when  jump starting,
when coding/programming,
 when reading codes with cheap equipment.​

Symptoms of failed Footwell Module are all of the below:
  • Light switches do not work
  • Windows do not go up or down
  • Few lights like parking lights are constantly on
  • Indicators do not work
  • interior lights do not switch on

Solution
We fix them, fixed/revived footwell modules by us are "Plug&Play"
Which means no additional coding or programming is needed.
FRM3 is located on the right side of the pedals, behind the plastic cover. It has three connectors.
One connector is from the door side, and two connectors are on the back, from the firewall side.

* If you do not experience the symptoms described above, it's not a typical FRM3 failure, so please get in touch with us first.
Please note we only repair the FRM3 module if not damaged in anyway by tampering burning or water damage. if you have any other faulty module and its not an FRM3 this will require a diagnostic session first .
